Easy Grilled Chicken With Green Beans And Bacon

Grilled seasoned chicken breasts with a side of skillet green beans and bacon make for an easy meal prep meal.

Ingredients
  

Green Beans With Bacon

  • 1 1/2 lb green beans trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup onion diced

Grilled Chicken

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp pink salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • spray oil for grill

Instructions
 

Green Beans With Bacon

  • Place the trimmed green beans into a large pot of boiling salted water and cook until bright green in color and crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain the beans and run under cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet¬†or pan over medium heat; add the diced bacon.¬†Fry bacon until crispy. Set aside bacon and pour out most of bacon grease but reserve at least 1 tbsp of bacon grease to saute.
  • Cook diced onion and minced garlic in the bacon grease. Then add the green beans and saute until fully cooked, and then add cooked bacon back in.

Grilled Chicken

  • Preheat grill to medium high heat and spray grill with spray oil
  • Mix garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, pink salt, pepper, and olive oil until well combined. Place seasoning rub on both sides of chicken breasts.
  • Place chicken on grill and grill each side for 5-8 minutes depending on thickness, until fully cooked.
